  • The smoky Lapsang Souchong is often viewed as the "first black tea". Although many people think this tea is "smoked", the smokiness in this tea is actually the byproduct of the “pinewood” drying process. A Lapsang Souchong is only smoky when it’s dried with Tongmu Village’s local Chinese red pinewood. The authentic smoky Lapsang Souchong does not carry a strong smoky taste. Our smoky Lapsang Souchong has a classic light and elegant smoky aroma and taste.
